Well the Thanksgiving long weekend is upon us. And like most weekends in the Okanagan, there is LOTS to get to!

Tomorrow at Rustico Winery, it's a return engagement with Almost Alan...Alan Jackson tribute artist Aaron Halliday. Show kicks off at 5pm and be sure to bring a little grub along for the potluck!

Tonight and tomorrow night up in Penticton, it's the Okanagan Fall Wine Festival's grand finale tasting. Now I haven't been to this before but I've been told it's sort of like the Fest of Ale...wine version.

Regardless, I am honoured to have been asked to MC the event tomorrow so please say HELLO if you happen to be there.

Hockey fans, there's action in both Princeton and Osoyoos this weekend. Friday the Princeton Posse host the Columbia Valley Rockies at 7pm...then the Rockies travel to Osoyoos for a game Saturday night at 7:35 at the Sunbowl.

There's a slew of great places to go for Thanksgiving dinner if you don't want to cook. Both Mica Restaurant at Spirit Ridge and the Sonora Room at Burrowing Owl have dinners happening...make a reservation and stay OUT of the kitchen!

Finally, the weather is sunny, days are warm (for October) and I hope you have lots of time to spend with your family and friends over this weekend.
