Rock The Peach
Man, what a weekend! I hope you got to spend some of your weekend at Rock The Peach because boy was it great! While I wasn't able to be there all weekend, I did catch parts of it on all three days including great sets from The Steadies, Collective Soul, Andrew Allen, Jesse Cook and Ronnie Dunn. The highlights for me were hearing Ronnie Dunn sing "Red Dirt Road" which is one of my favourite country songs and pretty much the entire Collective Soul concert. Those guys were fabulous! I was impressed by virtually everything about Rock The Peach as I think it was very well run. There was lots of delicious food, the crowd was well behaved and even the port-o-potties were in acceptable shape at the end of the weekend. It may not seem like a big thing but having enough port-o-potties and having them in good shape is huge for a big festival like this. I remember going to the Merritt Moutain Music Festival a few years ago and the crappers were terrible. I still have nightmares about what I had to endure that weekend! So a big thumbs up to everyone who was involved with Rock The Peach and hopefully it returns next summer! If you'd like to see a good photo album of the weekend our summer heat seeker Red Hot Ash posted a pile of pics on her Facebook page. Click the link to see them.
