I really enjoyed having Brad Merritt from 54-40 on the show earlier today. The Vancouver rockers will be in Penticton to play a free Peachfest show on Friday Aug 10th in Okanagan Lake Park. You'd better believe I'll be there! 54-40 put on such a great show and as Brad mentioned to me, they play all their big hits so you'll get to hear Ocean Pearl, She La, One Gun, Nice To Love You, etc. My favourite 54-40 song is She La and I put the video for it below. The highlight of the interview was him revealing that he used to work as a fruit picker in Naramata when he was a teenager! He said he loves the South Okanagan so much he figures that he's spent time here every summer of his life. I hope to see you at the 54-40 concert on Aug 10th!
