Searching for a Hall Banquet

The Oliver/Osoyoos Search and Rescue will be hosting it's first ever Banquet and Dance Fundraiser. The official name for this event is “Searching For a Hall Banquet”.

The evening will include a dinner at Watermark Beach Resort in Osoyoos prepared by Chef Jonas Standlander and his staff, a silent auction, 50/50 draw, door prizes, and a DJ spinning your favourite tunes to dance the night away.

The goal of this fundraiser is to draw awareness to the services provided by Oliver/Osoyoos Search and Rescue (OOSAR) and their project to build a hall on the site of their current vehicle compound at the Oliver Airport.

Currently OOSAR meets at the Community Services Building in Oliver while the equipment is stored at the Airport Compound. While the Community Services Building have served the team adequately over the years, with a growing team in both members and response capabilities this means that the team is in need of a larger location with more office, training, meeting, and storage space.

Tickets for this fun evening are available by contacting any team member or by emailing oosar@oosar.org. Tickets are $60 or a table of 8 for $440.
