The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen (RDOS) is reminding residents in West Bench that all water system users are still under a boil water notice and will continue to be until further notice.

Residents are reminded that due to high water table levels during spring run off and infiltration at the pump wet house the chlorination process will be compromised.

People are advised to boil water for all drinking, oral hygiene and for cooking purposes for at least one minute to kill off bacteria.

It is extremely important that residents do not drink the water unless it is boiled.
