The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) has agreed to make a little known organization it's main charitable beneficiary.

On July 16th, 2012 the two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in which TOTA names the Foundation as its beneficiary and pledges to provide major promotion about charitable and fundraising initiatives.

TOTA will support the BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) by including it on their website, at TOTA news centres, and in print material.

Alan Sacks, BCHF's Business Development Manager, is excited about the new collaboration.

"The Foundations is trying to grow into the Thompson Okanagan area. We've very much a Vancouver centric organization right now and we believe through our partnership  through TOTA we'll be able to generate a lot of awareness of what we're doing and how we're doing it"

The Hospitality Foundation helps industry workers who face extraordinary costs that arise from serious health issues and also provides financial aid to students in post secondary hospitality programs.
