Pimp Dad Trial Begins in Penticton

A man accused of pimping his step daughter has told a Penticton courtroom he was trying to protect her, and he never forced her
into the sex trade.
The man, who faces 10 charges including sexual interference of a person under 14, and two counts of living on the avails of
prostitution, made the comments as his provincial court trial resumed after a six week break.
He told the judge he sold heroin, cocaine and marijuana in Penticton and would negotiate prices between his step daughter and
johns, but denies accusations of sexual abuse.
The trial continues today.
