Princeton Elects New Mayor

The Town of Princeton have elected Frank Armitage as their new mayor.

Armitage, a former Princeton Councillor, edged out fellow candidate Rosemary Doughty.

Armitage amassed 548 votes while Doughty received only 170.

A new Councillor was also elected in the bi-election as Doug Pateman beat out Rob Rubis.

Pateman received 436 votes while Rubis collected 282 votes.

The election took place in Princeton on Saturday August 11th.

Artimage and Pateman will be sworn in later this month.
