Keremeos RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 35 year old male reported missing has been located, and he is safe and sound.

Previous:

Keremeos RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating a missing man.

35 year old Michael Prentice was reported missing earlier this week.

RCMP say Prentice was supposed to meet his brother Kevin in Vernon four weeks ago, and hasn't been seen since July 19th in Cawston.

The missing man had indicated on Facebook he was hitchhiking from Cawston to Vernon.

Prentice is described as a Caucasian male, six feet talk and 205 pounds.

It is unknown if Prentice ever made it to Vernon. RCMP are hoping someone may have seen Prentice over the summer months in the Okanagan as he may have been looking for labor work.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Keremeos RCMP.
