2012 RDOS Citizen Survey
9/14/2012
Results of the 2012 Citizen Survey conducted by the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen (RDOS) are available.
Of the four hundred randomly selected residents 77% say they are satisfied with their quality of life.
80% of respondents rate the Regional District as a great place to retire while only 63% think the RDOS is doing a good job overall.
Not surprisingly, only 17% of people said they would be in favor of a tax increase for more services.
The survey is accurate within +/- 4.9% at the 95% confidence level.
As a next step in the Citizen Survey process, the RDOS will review the results and determine areas that need to be addressed.
