Today is your last chance to get comments in about the proposed Cemetery bylaw in Summerland.

The District of Summerland has drafted several new documents about maintenance and regulations of the local cemetery in the wake of the Canyon View Cemetery cleaning and bylaw enforcement.

District staff will accept comments until the end of the day for consideration in the final bylaw.

Comments can be submitted either online by emailing works@summerland.ca

Or  you can deliver comments in person at the Municipal Hall located at 9215 Cedar Ave.

The final draft of the cemetery bylaw will be presented to Summerland council on Monday October 22, 2012.
