A 27 year old Vernon man has suffered serious injuries as a result of a motorcycle collision with an SUV on Glenmore Road in Kelowna yesterday.

He was being chased by RCMP both on the ground and in the air at the time.
 
Just before 3pm, RCMP say they tried to pull the biker over but he took off.  He eventually crashed into the SUV at Glenmore Road and Beaver Lake Road where he was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

He now faces charges of Dangerous Driving, Prohibited Driving and Causing a Police Pursuit.
